We pray you will find this site useful as we join together to assist our brothers and sisters in the new Lutheran Church of Nicaragua. Our Lord is doing exciting things there, and we of the Nicaragua Coordinating Committee consider it a privilege to participate in it.  Surely we have much to offer our Nicaragua Lutheran brothers and sisters, just as they have much to offer us.  We of the NCC do not consider this to be “our” site, but rather that it belongs to all Lutheran Church- Canada, Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod and Nicaragua Lutheran Church members who wish to join together to communicate about and support this wonderful work of the Holy Spirit in this lovely country. Please consider this your space, and use it freely. Our Mission is to support the Lutheran Church of Nicaragua by enhancing the spiritual and socio-economic well-being of the people of Nicaragua through the integration of Gospel based projects

Goals

To bring the Word of God to as many people of Nicaragua as we can

To identify the needs of the Nicaraguan Lutheran Church through it’s President, Rev. Louis Diaz and Mission Coordinator Roberto Acuna Rivera.

To work in partnership with the Nicaragua Lutheran Church to co-ordinate and enhance its efforts to spread the Gospel

To establish priorities for mission projects in conjunction with the Nicaraguan Lutheran Church leadership and in liason with Lutheran Church- Canada

Objectives

To identify and promote initiatives which will help the Nicaraguan Lutheran Church to become self-supporting

To expand the support base in Canada and the United States for future Nicaragua mission projects

To research best practices for consideration in satisfying our mission statement

To co-ordinate mission groups to help achieve established goals

To plan and evaluate future missions taking into consideration social and economic conditions
